This project aims to develop 30 units of multimedia learning materials for Huasteca Nahuatl to be published online in both Spanish and English. Theywill focus on developing students' oral communicationskills but will also contribute to their reading and writing abilities. Huasteca Nahuatlhas tens of thousands of speakers in Mexico and is one of the Nahuatl dialects with the largest geographical area. The materials willcontribute also to foster awareness of indigenous issues and inter-ethnic conflict in Mexico and the United States.
