Games2Teach Collaboratory

Games2Teach Collaboratory

Based on the Games2Teach project pioneered by CASLS (Oregon) and CERCLL (Arizona), CASLS and COERLL will co-host the Games2Teach Collaboratory for language educators who wish to explore the potential of digital gaming for language learning.  At two workshop “Collaboratories”, teachers will have the opportunity to play various kinds of technology-mediated games with each other, learn how game design principles promote language acquisition, and learn how to implement those games in their classrooms. Teachers will extend their participation beyond the Collaboratories by testing and writing up their curricular innovations for the project website.
