Online Language Course Presentation: Chinese I

Wen-Hua Teng, who taught online first-year Chinese I (CHI506) in fall, 2014, will present the 3-Ds (design, development and delivery) of online Chinese.  She will share her experiences of teaching online CHI506 synchronously (by using Adobe Connect) and asynchronously (by using Canvas).  In addition, she will discuss what she has learned about students’ behaviors when taking the online course and reflect on the promises and challenges of teaching a Chinese language course online.
