TLC Language Matters: Using Short Listening Dialogues in a Communicative Classroom

Join us for Language Matters where Dr. Al-Shalchi will discuss using short listening dialogues in the language classroom. She will demonstrate using short 2- to 3-minute segements to create an entire 50-minute class that helps students learn the language, enhances students' cultural awareness, and helps comprehension through nonverbal cues. Her presentation will walk you through step-by-step how she uses this technique with first year Arabic students.
