ITAL is a series of high-quality, professionally produced videos made for intermediate Italian that were successfully integrated into ITL 611C.
Throughout the semester, students watched three modules, each consisting of several videos focusing on distinct cultural topics, grammatical structures, and practical vocabulary. Students acquired knowledge of both Italian and Texan- Italian cultural perspectives while simultaneously utilizing and practicing their language skills.
Join us to learn about ITAL, why it was created, how ITAL was implemented in the classroom, and watch clips from ITAL videos as well as students’ videos inspired by ITAL. ITAL filmmakers will be participating in the presentation.
