Digital humanities: teaching & learning. TILTS: Second Symposium.

The TILTS Second Symposium will be held March 10-12, 2011 and will focus on Digital Humanities: Teaching And Learning.

Do technological innovations necessarily need new methods and new studies to be understood? How have these new media changed the ways in we teach and learn? This symposium will raise important questions about pedagogy, and bring interesting projects into dialogue with Texas-based pedagogical innovations such as the DWRL, the Texas Advanced Computing Center, the Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning, and a diverse range of individual faculty projects.

Carl Blyth, Director of COERLL, will participate in a panel discussion "But Is It Any Good? Assessing Humanities Tool-Building" on Saturday, March 24 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
